John O. Roberts
President and Owner
As owner of German Auto Specialists, John or JR, as he is know at the shop, has enjoyed the 35-year adventure of building one of the finest auto specialty shops in the tri-state area. One of the most rewarding parts of this journey has been the great relationships he has developed with his customers. (The rest of JR’s story can be found in the About Us portion of this web site.) Some of JR's accomplishments include a three-year seat on the Bosch Car Service national council, president of his business “20 Group,” and multiple terms as a church vestry member. JR, who spends most of his spare time with his wonderful wife, is a proud father of a concert pianist and Foreign Service Officer. You will also often find him gardening, tending to his koi pond, playing his classic Martin guitar for his granddaughter, trail cycling with his wife, Sally, or attempting to hit a little white dimpled ball into a very small hole. As an EAGLE Scout, JR helped prepare his son and other boys to become independent young men while enjoying all the outdoor activities of the troop.
