This place is the greatest!! I collect classic muscle cars and I do a lot of my own work on my car's. I also own a Porsche 993 and an Audi. This place is old school with modern technology. Great service. The job is done right the first time. You get answers. I am extremely pleased and recommend this business to anyone. And the owner loves animals and brings his dog everywhere. They don't make places like this place any longer.

I have been a customer of German Auto Specialists since I bought my 1999 Porsche Boxster 2.5L base in August 2015. At that time John Roberts owned the facility. Through inspections, parts replacement, new tires, and the knowledge, recommendations, respect and professionalism of their people, they cannot be equaled in the handling and servicing of my car. These qualities, and more have been carried over to the present owner, Nick Vanderwende and his competent specialists. I do live quite a distance from the shop, and could service my car with other places closer, but as long as I have my Porsche [which I swear I’ll be buried in] they will always be my service place of choice. Nick, Gus, and the rest of the German Auto Specialists team continue to do a great job. Had the 70k maintenance done on my Passat on 7/16/20... Nick described the work to be done, along with expected cost, prior to doing so. No surprises, just steady professional service.

I brought my SL 500 to the shop with an unfortunate common design problem that caused spot welds on 1 1/2 baffles in my fuel tank to break. My research of prior methods employed to correct the problem left me quite disheartened as it appeared that costly removal and replacement of the tank was the only likely correction. I am a former machinist and very familiar with metal fabrication which left me in complete awe of the proposed and very effective fabrication that the shop developed to permanently repair the problem without the necessity of removing and replacing the tank. This effective repair is one for the history books and truly reflective of the incredible skill and customer care that I have had the benefit to receive from the shop for many years.

Love working with German Auto Specialists! Everyone is extremely knowledgeable and willing to go out of their way to help in any way possible. This is by far the best experience I have ever had with an auto mechanic and given that we drive all German cars I will be a customer for life.
