They’re limited. Came recommended and it seems like most have a great experience with elective work/modifications/upgrades/tuning/routine maintenance, etc. so it’s worth giving them a try. The tech I spoke with is definitely knowledgeable and they explain & elaborate, but they’re nonetheless limited in their capabilities to resolve check engine lights. At least for BMW, if you have a check engine light, likely best to go to a dealer as these folks will charge you for the diagnostics/will tell you what’s wrong with the car, but unable to complete the ensuing task to repair as they simply lack having the required equipment to do so (and of course the dealer is going to charge you all over again for the same diagnostics).
I apologize if you feel as if we are limited in our capabilities. However, we diagnosed your BMW as you requested.... This process took time and we need to bill for our labor accordingly. The particular issue you are experiencing is an issue which can ONLY be resolved by BMW due to the vehicle needing to be connected to their network for this particular software update. The information which was given to you will allow you to bring the car to the BMW dealership to avoid any additional unneeded expenses. I suppose we could have offered to bring your car to the dealership directly and up-charge you for the time needed to do so. We elected to not offer that service to you in an attempt to save you as much money as possible. We always have our clients best interest in mind. Please let us know how you would like us to resolve this issue for you. Thank you!
